I am an assistant professor of comparative literature at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My work focuses on the intersection of Yiddish and its transnational connections with other literatures, languages, and cultures. In my research, I develop a geopolitical approach to literature, focusing especially on the transformation of literary centers and peripheries in the postwar period. I am also interested in technologies of print and how they impact literature as material culture.
